Contract Length: 2 weeks, with potential to extend
Schedule:
Confirmed Dates: June 30 – July 3 and July 7 – 11
Location for coverage: Elk facility only (for listed dates)
Ongoing Need: Monday through Friday
Work & Facility Details:
Support Staff: CRNAs at each location
Patient Volume:
Varies by facility
DuBois Hospital (Level II Trauma Center): ~40 cases/day (includes endoscopy); staffed with 4 Anesthesiologists and 15–18 CRNAs; shared supervision model
Clearfield, Brookville, and Elk facilities: Significantly lower case volumes
Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
Department Description: General Anesthesiology
Practice Setting: Hospital-based
EMR: Cerner
Hospital Bed Sizes:
DuBois: 272 beds
Elk: 163 beds
Clearfield: 50 beds
Brookville: 35 beds
Skills & Case Types:
Bread & butter general anesthesia
ENT, GYN, plastics, endoscopy, urology, orthopedics, vascular
DuBois only: OB, neuro, thoracic, and trauma (including heads and hearts)
All other sites: No OB, no head or heart cases
Requirements:
Board Certification: Required (ABA-BC)
State License: Pennsylvania license required
DEA: Required
Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
Minimum Experience: 2 years
Credentialing:
Temps for Clean Files: 1–2 weeks
Full Privileging: 60–90 days
