Consistent CRNA Locums in Western Illinois w/No Call or Weekends
Job description
This is an amazing team with a fantastic culture! Most staff and locum providers stay for years, contact is amazing and dynamic between Physicians and CRNAs is really positive, supportive and collaborative.
Specialty: CRNA
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 6 months, ongoing
Shift Details: 7:00-3:30 with 30 min lunch break, (No 10 or 12 hour shifts available)
Schedule: M-F, no call, no weekends
Work Details:
· Support staff: MD (usually 3 CRNAs per 1 MD), Anesthesia Techs at the main hospital (set up and have everything ready for all the bigger cases)
· Amount of coverage needed per month: Fulltime, willing to consider a minimum of 1 week/month as long as they can provide the full M-F
· Care Team Model
· Hospital Volume: Average about 60 cases per day between the main hospital and the surgery center
· Patient population/age: All ages, NO PICU -(relatively healthy peds - not high acuity - they get transported), NO NICU (if there is a concern with a baby - they will transport)
· Department description: Ortho, peds (low acuity only), trauma (Level II Facility), neuro, plastics, OB, general surg, ENT, endoscopies, a lot of total joints, urology/cystos - no transplants, Physicians do the blocks and all cardiac cases
· EMR: All Scripts right now - early stages of epic beginning in 2026
· Hospital bed size: 140, 9 Surgery Rooms
· Skills required: Will work with provider if not comfortable in all areas however, will be tough to schedule them if they have too many restrictions! Please be specific in what they are experienced in and what they are open to learning

Requirements:
· Board Certification: NBCRNA
· License: Now open to licensing candidates!! That said, please set expectation that license takes ~3 months and file can not be reviewed until it issues so that is an extra 6-8 weeks added to the timeline from there. Start date would be 5-6 months out! Make sure they are committed with that timeline prior to submitting licensing candidates, TYSM!
· Minimum experience required: Will take new grads!
Credentialing Timeframe: Generally 6-8 weeks once full file has been turned in
Interview Process: Zoom Interview
- 6 month contract + option to extend
- Cases: Ortho, peds (low acuity only), trauma (Level II Facility), neuro, plastics, OB, general surg, ENT, endoscopies, a lot of total joints, urology/cystos - no transplants
