Locum CRNA Opportunity – Chicago, IL

Job description

We are seeking experienced CRNAs for a 13-week locum opportunity at a busy hospital system in Chicago, IL, with strong potential to extend. This is a supervised model with no independent practice required. CRNAs must be highly proficient with EPIC EMR and skilled in MAC and general anesthesia.

📅 Position Details:

Start Date: Late October / Early November

Contract Length: 13 weeks, with option to extend

Schedule:

3x12s per week (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM with 30-minute unpaid lunch)

Must commit to at least 3 full weeks per month, 4 weeks preferred

Occasional 4th shift or OT may be available but not guaranteed

Orientation: 1-day (may expand to 2–3 days)

🏥 Facility & Case Info:

Setting: Hospital, 50 anesthetizing sites daily

Support:

19–23 supervising anesthesiologists per shift

10–20 CRNAs scheduled per day

CRNAs are always supervised

Patient Population: Adults (18+); peds and neuro experience a plus

EMR: EPIC – must have minimum 2 years EPIC experience

🛠 Skills Required:

Proficient in MAC and General Anesthesia

No OB, regional, thoracic, or cardiac experience needed

📋 Requirements:

Board Certified CRNA

Illinois license required (must apply within 1 week of accepting offer)

DEA not required

Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience

At least 2 years of EPIC EMR experience or high proficiency

• 12 hour shifts
• No OB, regional, thoracic, or cardiac experience needed
• Willing to license
