Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a full-time CRNA for a 3-month contract in Chicago. This assignment offers consistent weekday scheduling, independence in practice, and a collaborative anesthesia care team environment. With a strong orthopedic and spine case mix, this is an excellent opportunity for CRNAs who are proficient in advanced blocks.

Assignment Details

Contract Length: 3 months

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (cases may begin as early as 6:00 AM)

Shifts: 40 hours/week

Supervision: None — independent practice


Case Mix

General orthopedics

Joint replacements

Spine procedures

Block Proficiency Required:

Brachial plexus, truncal, and lower extremity blocks

Techniques include: spinal, interscalene, adductor, and popliteal blocks


Practice Model

Independent CRNA practice

Collaborative team: 1 MD + 3 CRNAs

EMR: Medaxion


Requirements

Must be comfortable working independently and proficient in performing blocks

Caselogs required: Proof of epidurals, spinals, and blocks

Certifications: ACLS (AHA only), BLS, PALS

Licensing: Active Illinois license required

Physicians (if applicable): MDs/DOs must also hold a DEA
