CRNA Locum Opportunity – Quincy, IL

Job description

Join one of the most supportive anesthesia teams in the region! This group is known for its exceptional culture, low turnover, and highly collaborative relationship between CRNAs and physicians. Most locums stay for years because the environment is that good.

Assignment Details

Start Date: Jan

Contract Length: 6 months, ongoing

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00a–3:30p (30-min lunch)

Call: None

Weekends: None

Monthly Need: 1 week/month minimum → up to full-time


Work Environment

Setting: Hospital + Ambulatory Surgery Center

Care Team Model: Typically 3 CRNAs per 1 MD


Support Staff:

MDs

Anesthesia Techs (handle setup for all larger cases)


Facility Details:

9 ORs

~60 cases/day across hospital & surgery center

EMR: AllScripts (Epic transition expected 2026)


Case Mix

Ortho (lots of total joints)

Low-acuity peds (no PICU, no NICU—patients are transported if high-acuity)

Trauma (Level II)

Neuro

Plastics

OB

General surgery

ENT

Endoscopy

Urology/Cystos

No transplants

Physicians perform all blocks and cardiac cases


Skills & Expectations

Providers will be supported if they’re not experienced in every service line

Too many restrictions makes scheduling difficult—please be specific about comfort levels

New grads welcome!


Requirements

Board Certification: NBCRNA

License:

Open to licensing candidates

Important: IL license takes ~3 months to issue

File cannot be reviewed until license is active → add another 6–8 weeks

Start date for licensing candidates is 5–6 months out — provider must be committed to that timeline

Experience: New grads accepted

Credentialing: 6–8 weeks once full file is submitted
