CRNA Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage in Iowa

Job description

A healthcare organization in Iowa is seeking one CRNA for a six-month locum tenens assignment with ongoing potential. The provider will assist with coverage at two hospital locations within the same region.

The schedule is Monday through Friday with guaranteed 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week. There is no call requirement.

Cases include general anesthesia, orthopedics, and pediatric cases in a Level III hospital setting. The anesthesia team consists of approximately one anesthesiologist to nine CRNAs, with limited supervision. Epic is used for documentation.

Candidates must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications and be comfortable with general, orthopedic, and pediatric anesthesia. Credentialing takes approximately 60–90 days.

Compensation includes $200 per hour, a $2,000 weekly stipend, travel and lodging, and meals while working.
