CRNA Needed for Weekday Locum Tenens Coverage in Iowa

Job description

A hospital in Iowa is seeking one CRNA for a six-month locum tenens assignment with the possibility of ongoing coverage.

The provider will work Monday through Friday with guaranteed 8-hour shifts and a 40-hour workweek. There is no call requirement.

The case mix includes general anesthesia, orthopedics, and pediatric cases in a Level III hospital setting. The anesthesia department operates with approximately one anesthesiologist to nine CRNAs and offers a practice environment with limited supervision. Epic is used for documentation.

Candidates must maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications. Credentialing is expected to take approximately 60–90 days.

Compensation includes $200 per hour, a $2,000 weekly stipend, paid travel and lodging, and meals while working.
