Anesthesiology

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 19 weeks (with potential extension to 26 weeks pending confirmation)
Shift Details: 4 x 10-hour shifts, no weekends or call (Monday – Thursday or Tuesday – Friday)
Schedule: Full-Time, 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM (1/2-hour lunch); Must be available 3 weeks/month
Facility may also consider 4x10, 5x10, 3x12, 4x12, or 5x12 schedules
3 Highlights:
Comprehensive Coverage: CRNA will cover a diverse range of cases including Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, and Neuro (excluding cardiac and OB).
Supportive Team Environment: Work alongside CRNAs, Anesthesia Techs, Anesthesiologists, and residents in a hospital with a 1:2 or 1:4 anesthesia provider ratio, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Licensing Flexibility: Open to candidates needing state licensure in Kentucky, with the option for facility to assist with the licensing process.
Work Details:
Patients per day: Varies (1-9 per day)
Patient population/age: All ages (no Neonatal)
Department Description: CRNAs will be directed by Anesthesiologists, primarily focusing on Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, and Neuro procedures.
Skills Required: Intubation, Central Line, Arterial Line, Line Placement (Blocks and OB not required)
Practice Setting: Hospital (Level 1 Trauma Center)
Requirements:
Board Certification: NBCRNA
State License: KY license required (open to assisting with licensure)
Minimum Experience: 1 year experience required (No New Grads)
Credentialing Timeframe: Up to 90 days
