Contract Length: 26 weeks
Schedule: Full-Time, 4x10s | Monday–Friday | 7:00a–5:30p (½-hour lunch)
Availability: Must be available 4 weeks per month
Position Overview:
Aya Locums is seeking an experienced CRNA to join a dynamic anesthesia care team at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Kentucky. This role offers a diverse case mix, a collaborative environment, and a consistent weekday schedule — perfect for providers seeking a well-rounded hospital setting without OB or cardiac cases.
Practice Details:
Support Staff: CRNAs, Anesthesia Techs, and Anesthesiologists
Supervision: Medically directed model (2:1 or 3:1 typical ratio). Attending physicians often oversee residents in the other room, offering autonomy while maintaining support.
Cases Covered: Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, Neuro (No Heart, No OB)
Patient Population: All ages (excluding neonatal)
Case Load: 1–9 patients/day depending on acuity
EMR: Epic (preferred)
Additional Requirement: All providers will cover NORA cases
Skills Required: Intubation, Central Line, Arterial Line, Line Placement
Requirements:
Certification: NBCRNA (Board Certified)
License: Active Kentucky license or open to licensing
Experience: Minimum 1 year (no new grads)
Credentialing Timeframe: ~90 days
