Job description
Assignment Details:
Start Date: February 2, 2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks (potential to extend)
Schedule: Full-time; (4) 10-hour shifts or (3) 12-hour shifts per week
Hours: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM or 7:00 AM–7:30 PM (includes 30-minute lunch)
Availability: Must be available 4 weeks per month
Practice Setting:
Hospital-based, Level 1 Trauma Center environment
CRNA will provide anesthesia services across a variety of surgical cases including orthopedic, trauma, vascular, and neuro (no cardiac, no OB, no neonatal)
Providers are expected to work NORA (non-operating room anesthesia) locations as well
Team Structure:
Collaborative anesthesia care team including CRNAs, anesthesiologists, residents, and anesthesia technicians
Medical direction model (typical ratios 2:1 or 3:1; may reach up to 4:1 for low-acuity cases)
Attending anesthesiologists actively engaged in teaching and supervision of resident
Clinical Details:
Average patient volume: 1–9 cases per day, depending on complexity
Patient population: All ages (excluding neonates)
Required skills: Intubation, central and arterial line placement
Blocks not typically required
EMR: Epic (experience preferred)
Requirements:
Board Certification: NBCRNA required
Licensure: Active Kentucky license or willing to obtain (open to licensing)
Experience: Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience required (no new graduates)
Certifications: Current ACLS and BLS strongly preferred
Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days
