CRNA Opportunity – Critical Access Hospital | Independent Practice

📍 Location: Bar Harbor, ME
🏥 Setting: Critical Access Hospital (Independent Practice Environment)
📅 Start Date: TBD
📋 Contract Length: Ongoing / As Needed

Schedule:
Shift: Nights – 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM
Rotation: 2 weeks on / 1 week of

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, autonomous CRNA to join a high-acuity trauma care team in a critical access hospital setting. This position involves independent practice and requires proficiency in a wide range of anesthetic techniques, including regional blocks.


Clinical Details:
Patient Volume: 18–20 patients/day
Patient Population: Adults
Practice Model: Independent
Call Type: Acute care, trauma call
Outpatient Clinic Support: Available upon request
Inpatient/Trauma Management:
• Supported by lab and x-ray onsite
• Inpatient trauma and referrals managed through Connect for transfer/placement

Skills & Procedures Required:
Anesthetic Techniques:
• General
• Regional (including blocks)
• Local

Procedural Experience:
• General surgery
• Urology
• Ophthalmology
• Vascular
• Gynecology
• Orthopedics

Special Procedures:
• Experience with regional blocks is preferred and expected

EMR: Cerner

Credentialing & Requirements:
Board Certification: Required
Licensure: Will license qualified candidates
DEA: Required
CSR: Not required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Credentialing Timeframe: ~30 days
