April: 6–10; 13–17

May: 18–22

June: 19; 22–26; 29–30

July: 6–10; 13–17; 20–24; 30–31

August: 3–7; 10–14; 17–21; 24–28; 31–Sept 4

October: 5–9

Daily Coverage Model
Solo practice: 1 provider/day

Weeknight call: No call Monday–Friday

Weekend call: No call Saturday/Sunday

Case Types & Requirements
• Case Types: Endo, General, Ortho, URO

Major focus: ENDO
• EMR: Paper (transition to electronic system late 2026)
• Certifications: AANA, BLS, ACLS
• Independent practice required
• DEA: n/a
• Skills Required: Spinals, blocks, epidural

Maine CRNA License Timeline
• Maine Board of Nursing application processing: Typically 7–14 business days after submission once a complete application and fees are received.

• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure (which includes CRNAs) is processed through the Maine Board of Nursing; applicants can also request temporary authority to practice for up to 90 days if currently approved in another state with equivalent requirements.

• The processing time for advanced practice nursing endorsement or initial licensure is approximately 6 to 8 weeks after all documents, background checks, and credentials are submitted.
