Job description
A facility in Maine is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for scheduled locum tenens coverage with the option for ongoing rotations.
Position Details:
Specialty: CRNA (Independent Practice)
Practice Model: All CRNA practice with no supervision
Start Date: April 13, 2026
Schedule: Day shifts only
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Call: No weeknight or weekend call
Coverage Type: Scheduled shifts only
EMR: Cerner
Providers On Site: Two CRNAs daily
Cases and Skills Required:
Case types include endoscopy, gynecology, general surgery, and urology. Required regional and neuraxial skills include spinals, epidurals, and peripheral nerve blocks. Advanced blocks performed at the site include TAP blocks, rectus sheath blocks, QL blocks, femoral and adductor canal blocks, and interscalene blocks. Case logs are required as proof of experience with epidurals, spinals, and blocks.
Facility Details:
Inpatient setting. No cardiovascular, cath lab, interventional radiology, or endoscopy suites. OR count not applicable.
Requirements:
Active, unrestricted Maine CRNA license is required to apply. Temporary licenses are available while full credentialing is completed.
Credentialing:
Estimated 60–90 days. Temporary privileges may be granted with a clear background and active license.
Dates Needed:
Initial coverage includes April 13–17, April 27–May 1, May 11–15, May 18–22, and May 25–29.
Ongoing rotation is two weeks on and two weeks off beginning June 15 and continuing thereafter.
