Anesthesiologist Needed – Albany, NY
Facility Type: Level 1 Trauma Center / Academic Medical Center
Start Date: ASAP (credentialing 60–90 days, possibility of temps if clean with responsive references)
Length of Assignment: Ongoing
Schedule: 5 x 10-hour shifts per week (3–4 weeks per month)
Call: No call
Case Mix:
• Level 1 Trauma
• ASC cases - ENT; Small, healthy pediatric cases
Patient Ages: All ages, Level 1 Trauma
Staffing Model:
• MD:CRNA ratio 1:3
• Epic EMR
Requirements:
• Board Certified in Anesthesiology (no Board Eligible accepted)
• Active NY license (required at time of submission)
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications
• New grads considered on a case-by-case basis
Credentialing:
• 60–90 days standard
• Possible temporary privileges if everything is clean
Highlights:

Notes:
• Strong preference for local providers, but T&L covered for travelers
• Coverage is the top priority
