Flexible coverage options—providers can choose from Monday to Friday, weekends only, or a mix of both
Shifts available are 8, 10, and 12 hours during the day
Weekend coverage includes Friday through Sunday, occasionally extending through Monday

Clinical Details:
Practice Setting: Inpatient Acute Care Hospital
Hospital Features: Licensed for 815 beds, Level II Trauma Center (soon to be Level I), Comprehensive Stroke Center, Level III Epilepsy Center, Level III NICU, includes the only children’s hospital in western North Carolina

Case Mix: General, orthopedic, endoscopy, urology, gynecology, robotics, neuro/spine, very limited pediatrics, no craniotomies or transplants
Support Staff: Anesthesia technicians; no anesthesiologist assistants
Care Model: Care team model
EMR: Cerner and AIMS
Credentialing: Temporary privileges granted when urgent need arises

Additional Information:
Active North Carolina license required to start credentialing
Minimum 2 years experience required

Travel and lodging reimbursed; no stipend; receipts required
