Job description

📍 Location: Ohio - Small Rural Hospital
🛏 Facility Size: 99 beds
📋 Start: Opportunity to Convert to Permanent
🩺 Practice Setting: Hospital-Based, Independent with 24/7 Support

Schedule:
Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Standard OR hours)
Option for 4x10s/week (7:00 AM start)
Initial Commitment: 3-month contract before converting to permanent
Flexibility Encouraged: Ideal for providers seeking long-term rural hospital work

Department Overview:
Environment:
• Rural hospital with strong team-based culture
• CRNAs practice independently with 24/7 anesthesiologist supervision/support
• Focused on bread and butter cases
• No heads, hearts, or trauma
• OB involvement limited to epidurals only
• Some pediatric ENT (ages 3–5)

Support Staff:
• Anesthesiologists
• OR and Pre/Post-Op Staff

Patient Details:
Daily Volume: 5–6 OR starts per day

Patient Population:
• 85% Adults
• 10% OB (epidurals only)
• 3% Adolescents
• 2% Young children (ages 3–5 for ENT cases only)

Required Skills & Procedures:
Must be comfortable practicing independently
Strong experience in bread and butter cases
Must be able to perform OB epidurals
Comfortable with light pediatric ENT
No heads, hearts, or trauma involvement

Credentialing & Licensing:
Privileging Timeframe: 60–120 days
Licensing: Willing to license qualified candidates
