CRNA Locums Opportunity in West Columbia, SC

Job description

Specialty: CRNA (50 mile radius rule, no local candidates)

Schedule: the preference is 5x8's per week, but may consider 4x10s. locum would occasionally be assisting at the Ambulatory Surgery Center nearby. They can expect to travel to the surgery center 1 time a week. On occasion they may be asked to go twice. Depending on when the cases finish at the surgery center, they may be able to finish their shift there. If they finish at the surgery center before their shift is completed, they will need to travel back to the main hospital to complete their shift.

Work Details:
• Support staff: Anesthesia techs
• Patients per day: Approximately 150 anesthetics per day between Main OR, ASCs, IR, Cath Lab, EP, OB, MRI, etc.
• Patient population/age: 18 – Geriatric. Very limited pediatric cases but travelers is not included in pediatric cases
• Department description: Large department of 70 CRNAs with 15 anesthesiologists working under Medical Direction Care Team model providing anesthesia for generally, GYN, ortho, urology, and vascular cases
• EMR: Epic ( Highly Preferred)
• Special Equipment: Have Glidescopes, Alaris IV pumps. Utilize Draeger anesthesia machines.
• Skills required: No regional or block skills needed

Requirements:
• Minimum experience required: 3 years
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 – 90 days
Willing To License?: Yes - if they have a compact license
