Job description
Start date: January
Contract Length: 13 weeks, with option to extend
Shift Details: 40 hour work week (*Will ONLY consider candidates that can work every week, no part timers.)
Schedule: Needing candidates who can work 4x10s - full time. Want them to rotate to one of the ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs). There are three ASCs. As long as they agree to rotate to one of the surgery centers, it does not have to be specific to one surgery center. They can expect to travel to the surgery center up to 1 time a week. On occasion they may be asked to go twice. Depending on when the cases finish at the surgery center, they may be able to finish their shift there. If they finish at the surgery center before their shift is completed, they will need to travel back to the main hospital to complete their shift.
Work Details:
• Support staff: Anesthesia techs
• Patients per day: Approximately 150 anesthetics per day between Main OR, ASCs, IR, Cath Lab, EP, OB, MRI, etc.
• Patient population/age: 18 – Geriatric. Very limited pediatric cases but travelers is not included in pediatric cases
• Department description: Large department of 70 CRNAs with 15 anesthesiologists working under Medical Direction Care Team model providing anesthesia for generally, GYN, ortho, urology, and vascular cases
• EMR: Epic ( Highly Preferred)
• Special Equipment: Have Glidescopes, Alaris IV pumps. Utilize Draeger anesthesia machines.
• Skills required: No regional or block skills needed
Practice Setting:
• Hospital – Medical Center
• Surgery Center
Requirements:
• Board Certification: CRNA
• State license required: Yes
• DEA: Yes
• Certifications preferred: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Minimum experience required: 3 years
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 – 90 days
