CRNA – Full-Time Rotating Anesthesia Coverage (South Carolina)
Job description
Full-time: 4×10 shifts, 40 hours/week
Rotation: Travel to one of three Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) up to once per week, occasionally twice
Shift Completion: If ASC cases finish early, provider may need to return to main hospital to complete shift
Role Overview
Join a large anesthesia team providing comprehensive coverage across a main hospital and ASCs. Focus on standard anesthesia cases—no regional or block skills required.
Work Details
Support Staff: Anesthesia techs
Patient Volume: ~150 anesthetics/day across Main OR, ASCs, IR, Cath Lab, EP, OB, MRI
Patient Population: Adult to geriatric (limited pediatrics; travelers not included)
Department: 70 CRNAs + 15 anesthesiologists under a Medical Direction Care Team model
Case Types: General, GYN, ortho, urology, vascular
EMR: Epic (highly preferred)
Equipment: Glidescopes, Alaris IV pumps, Draeger anesthesia machines
Requirements
Board Certification: CRNA
License: Active state license required
DEA: Required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS preferred
Experience: Minimum 2 years
Credentialing: 60–90 days

Hospital (Medical Center) and Ambulatory Surgery Center
