Schedule & Coverage

Work Schedule Options:

4 × 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM), or

5 × 8-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

Call Requirement: Required

Home call approximately once per week

Weekday call: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Weekend call: 24 hours

Call-back response time: 30–45 minutes

Post-Call: Most post-call days are off; post-call providers are always first out

Scheduling Model: Rotating schedule shared equally among all providers; shifts vary week to week to align with block schedules

Inpatient hospital setting

Work Details

Support Staff: 1 Anes Technician

Department Size: 8 ORs

Patient Volume: ~200 cases

Patient Population: Ages 15–100

EMR: Epic

Case Mix & Procedures

Bread-and-butter anes cases

Daily mix of General Surg, OB/GYN, ENT, and Orthopedics

Standard anes equipment utilized
