CRNA Needed at a High-Acuity Hospital in Northeast Tennessee

Job description

A high-acuity hospital in Northeast Tennessee is seeking a CRNA for a locum tenens assignment beginning in fall 2026.

The standard schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week with flexibility regarding the provider’s weekday off. Call coverage may be available and can make a candidate more competitive.

Providers must be able to cover at least two of the three major holiday weeks surrounding Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. Additional incentives may be available for holiday coverage.

The case mix includes general surgery, orthopedics, gastroenterology, plastics, urology, vascular, obstetrics, and trauma. Cardiac and complex neurological cases are available but are not required.

The hospital treats patients of all ages. Pediatric cases are optional, and providers will not be required to cover critically ill pediatric patients.

The anesthesia practice is medically directed approximately 90% of the time. Epic is used for electronic medical records.

Candidates must have at least six months of CRNA experience, an active Tennessee license or applicable compact eligibility, and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
