Anesthesiologist needed in the Valley, Texas!

Job description

South Texas: "the valley"

ASAP - Ongoing

Minimum length of coverage: 3 months

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7a-3p

Call: Weeknight / 24-hour Call 1-2 times per week for in-house/beeper call

Inpatient & Outpatient

Case Types: Mainly Bread & Butter, ortho, some regional anesthesia, regional blocks are rare, some dental and eye balls, some cardiothoracic, some neuro, some trauma, CRNAs will insert epidural for spinal blocks.

No OB

Potential need for Cardiac if the doc is interested

Anesthesia Model for ANES's: 50% own cases and 50% supervision

Care Team Model - 1:4 MDs to CRNAs

Can you accept a New Grad: Yes, the cred’g/priv’g process would be faster for a New Grad

Active TX license is required.

Cred’g/Priv’g Timeframe: Typically 60 - 90 days (may be within 45 days for a new grad, can grant temp priv’s for a dire need, but depends on the hospitals’ turnaround)
