CRNA Needed in the Greater Houston, Texas Area

Job description

A facility in the Greater Houston, Texas area is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage. Coverage opportunities may include 8-, 10- and 12-hour shifts beginning at approximately 6:30 a.m.

The case mix includes general surgery, orthopedics, gastroenterology, neurology, urology and radiology. Most patients are adults, although occasional pediatric cases may be encountered. OB-specific shifts may be available for providers who are interested, but OB experience is not required for standard non-OB shifts.

The practice uses a supervision and non-medical-direction model with an established team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs. Charting is completed through Meditech and electronic shareable forms.

Candidates must hold an active Texas license. Temporary privileges may be available in approximately five weeks for providers with a clean credentialing file and substantial availability. Standard credentialing may take approximately 60–90 days.
