Job description
A Level III Trauma Center in Vermont is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for locum tenens coverage in a medically supervised anesthesia care team model.
Position Details:
Profession: CRNA
Practice Model: Medical supervision (approximately 60%)
Daily Model: Three CRNAs and two anesthesiologists
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: Ongoing (dates listed below)
Shift: Day shift
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Late Room: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Call: Approximately one night per week
Call Hours: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM with a 30-minute response time
Guaranteed Pay: Eight hours per day with overtime after eight hours
EMR: Medaxion
Facility Details:
Five operating rooms at a Level III Trauma Center. OB volume is approximately 380 deliveries per year, including C-sections and VBACs. Average callback rate is approximately 67%.
Case Mix:
Orthopedics, general surgery, endoscopy, OB/GYN, pediatrics, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, plastics.
Skills Required:
Must be proficient in spinals, epidurals, and peripheral nerve blocks.
Requirements:
Active Vermont CRNA license required to apply.
Credentialing:
Estimated 60–90 days. Temporary privileges may be available with an active, unrestricted license and a clean professional history.
