CRNA Locum Needed in Virginia

Fredericksburg, VA – CRNA Locum Opportunity
Start Date: June 9, 2025
Contract Length: 6 or 12 months preferred
Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days

Schedule & Coverage:
• Shift: 4x10s (not always consecutive) – 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• On-Call: Optional; Beeper call available for nights or weekends
• Guaranteed Hours: 40-60 hours per week (4:1 supervision)
• Overtime: Paid after scheduled shift, not after 40 hours
• Schedule: Sunday – Saturday, posted 8 weeks in advance
• Floating: Between Mary Washington Hospital, Stafford Hospital, and MW Ambulatory Center

Work Details:
• Trauma Level: Level 2 (experience required)
• Case Mix:
o All cases except transplants
o Required: OB & Thoracic
o Preferred: Pediatrics
o Includes: Hearts, Lungs, Healthy Peds Dental/ENT, OB, Ortho, GI, ENT, Vascular, EP
• Procedures:
o CRNAs do own epidurals and spinals (no blocks)
o Blocks not guaranteed
• Additional Credentialing:
o Main OR
o 4-OR Satellite Hospital
o 6-OR Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)
o Occasional pediatric cases

Requirements:
• Minimum Experience: 1 year
• Board Certification: Required
• License: Must hold a Virginia license
• Trauma Experience: Level 2 trauma experience required
• Proficiency: Must be skilled in spinal and epidural placement & management
