ANES x3 Needed in Suffolk Virginia!

Position: Anesthesiologist

Number of Openings: 3

Duration of Assignment (weeks): 12

Estimated Privileging Timeframe (days): 30

Case Type(s): General, Ortho, GYN

Board Certification Required: Yes

Willing to accept candidates that need to obtain state license: No

Shift Type: 8 hour

No call

Overtime Expected?: Not expected but offered

Site Charting System: Epic

No supervision. Own cases only

Other notes about the site: Brand new state of the art facility. Minimal utilization on call.

Responsibilities | Assist in the directing and coordinating of Activities in the Anesthesia Department | Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious ad/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures | Pre-anesthesia assessment | Obtains and/or verifies patient consent | Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient | Induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia | Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition | Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements | M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine | ECFMG and FLEX | Completion of approved Residency in Anesthesia | Currently licensed as a Physician

$350 + T&L (stipends or booked for you)
