Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a full-time CRNA for a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, VA, starting October 2025. This assignment offers consistent scheduling and the chance to work within a large, collaborative anesthesia care team at a Level 1 trauma center.

Assignment Details

Start Date: October 2025

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule: (4) 10-hour shifts per week; (3) 12-hour shifts also available; preference for candidates open to working Saturdays and Sundays

Availability: Weekly coverage required (not rotating weeks on/off)


Case Mix & Work Details

Practice Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient GI

Patient Population: Ages 13 through end of life

Cases Not Included: No open heart/thoracic, pediatrics, obstetrics, or peripheral nerve blocks

Skills Required: GI experience; position is Medical Direction

Level 1 trauma center

Hospital Size: 600 beds

EMR: Epic


Requirements

Certifications: ACLS & BLS (AHA only)

Vaccinations: COVID & Flu required (no exemptions)

Board Certification: Required

License: Active Virginia license required

DEA: Not required

Experience: Minimum 2 years required; preference for academic background and Level 1 or 2 trauma experience; inpatient experience highly preferred. Outpatient-only experience may be considered. Experience working regularly with ASA 3+ patients is strongly preferred.
