I have a client in Salem, VA who's seeking 7 experienced CRNAs for locum coverage. Here are some job details.

Site Needs Approximately 7 Crnas For October 2025 - March 2026

Shifts Are Monday-friday, 7a-3p - No Call Required, No Weekends

Candidate Requirements

Which Board Status Will Be Considered? Be/bc Hospital Credentialing Requires National Board Of Certification And Recertification For Nurse Anesthetists (Nbcrna)

Any Specific Fellowships/certifications/procedures/competencies We Are Looking For? No, Standard Type

Cases (Gen Surg, Endo, Gyn, Ortho, Spine, Robotics, Urology, Ob, Cath Lab, Ir Lab). Spinal Experience Is
Preferred, But No Required. No Cardiac, Epidural Or Peripheral Nerve Block Experience Is Necessary.

Provider Will Be In The Main/general Ors; The Experienced/specialized Providers Will Be In Utilized In The Other Ors

Experience Level Preference? We Will Accept Recent Graduates. All These Cases Will Be Medical Direction With An Anesthesiologist

Credentialing
Will Mso Offer Emergency Privs Or Temps? Temps Are Available

Orientation Done On First Day Or Prior? Will Be Tailored To The Needs Of The Provider; Specifics Will Be Discussed Prior To Start

Hospital/unit Questions:

Number Of Beds: 11 + 2 Cardiac Or’s.

Census & Daily Patient Volume: On Average, 25-35 Cases Per Day In The Or

Trauma Center? Types Of Cases? Acuity? Level Ii In Process; Case Types: Davinci Robotics, Total Joints,

General Surgery, Gyn, Breast, Plastics, Pain Management, Urology, Ent, Pediatric Dental, Anesthesia Also
Covers L&d. Also Cvor Which Some Crna’s Cover If So Trained.

What Does The Support Staff Look Like (Techs, Nursing, Mid-levels, Etc.)? Rn’s, Certified Surgical

Technologists, And A Limited Number Of Licensed Surgical Assistants. No App’s Except Those Employed By Physician Practices.
