Locum Tenens CRNA Opportunity – Virginia (Level 1 Trauma Center)

Schedule & Shifts
Weekly availability required – prefer not to rotate weeks on/weeks off
(4) 10-hour shifts per week OR (3) 12-hour shifts per week
Weekend availability strongly preferred (rotating Saturdays & Sundays)
All time-off requests must be submitted upfront
Work Details
Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient GI
Department: Level 1 trauma center (600-bed hospital)
60 CRNAs, 70 attending anesthesiologists, 60 anesthesia residents
Coverage includes 33 main ORs, 16 offsite anesthesia locations, 12 outpatient surgery ORs, and 3–4 standalone GI rooms
Patient Population: Ages 13 – end of life
EMR: Epic
Skills Required: GI experience, Medical Direction
Excluded Cases: No open heart/thoracic, pediatrics, obstetrics, or peripheral nerve blocks
Requirements
Board Certification: Required
License: Active Virginia license required
Experience: Minimum 2 years (academic background and Level 1 or 2 trauma experience strongly preferred)
Experience at a Level 1 academic facility is a big plus
Must be comfortable working with ASA 3+ patients
Certifications: ACLS & BLS (must be valid and completed through AHA)
