Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a CRNA to provide anesthesia coverage at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Central Virginia. This 13-week assignment offers a collaborative environment within a large academic facility, serving both inpatient and outpatient.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: January 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Coverage Type: (4) 10-hour shifts per week or (3) 12-hour shifts per week
• Schedule: Requires weekly availability – prefer not to rotate weeks on/weeks off
• Hours: 11a–11p, rotating Saturdays and Sundays
• Location: Inpatient & Outpatient GI

Work Details
• Patient Population: Ages 13 through end of life
• Department Description: Level 1 trauma center with support staff
• EMR: Epic
• Excluded Cases: Open heart/thoracic, pediatrics, obstetrics, and peripheral nerve blocks

Practice Setting
• Inpatient & Outpatient

Requirements
• Vaccinations: COVID & Flu required (no exemptions)
• Board Certification: Required
• License: Active Virginia license
• Certifications: ACLS & BLS (must be AHA-certified)
• DEA: Not required
• Minimum Experience: 2+ years required, preferably with academic and Level 1 or 2 trauma experience; outpatient-only candidates considered if recent inpatient experience preferred
