Schedule: (4) 10-hour shifts per week – mix of 11a–11p with rotating weekends (Saturdays & Sundays)
Time Off: All requests must be made upfront
Highlights
🏥 Work at a Leading Level 1 Trauma Center: Join a dynamic anesthesia team of 60 CRNAs, 70 attending anesthesiologists, and 60 residents, covering 33 main ORs, multiple offsite locations, and GI centers.
💉 Collaborative, High-Acuity Practice: Provide anesthesia care across inpatient and outpatient GI settings for patients ages 13 through end-of-life using Epic EMR.
⚙️ Flexible Schedule & Impactful Role: 13-week assignment with rotating weekends and opportunities to assist in a fast-paced academic environment during maternity leave coverage.
Position Details
Practice Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
Hours: 11a–11p (rotating weekends)
Hospital Size: 600 beds
Cases Not Included: Open heart/thoracic, pediatrics, obstetrics, peripheral nerve blocks
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years (Level 1 or 2 trauma experience preferred; academic background a plus)
Credentialing Timeframe: ~30 days
Requirements
Board Certification: Required
License: Active Virginia license
DEA: Not required
Vaccinations: COVID & Flu (no exemptions approved)
Preferred: Recent inpatient or academic experience working with ASA 3+ patients
