Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a CRNA for coverage at a Level I trauma center in central Virginia. This role offers steady 10–12-hour shifts, weekend availability, and a strong academic anesthesia team.

Assignment Details
• Specialty: CRNA
• Start Date: January 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift Details: (4) 10-hour shifts weekly; some 12-hour shifts available
• Weekend Needs: Saturdays and Sundays preferred

Work Details
• Patient Population: Ages 13 through end of life
• EMR: Epic
• Skills Required: GI anesthesia experience; medical direction model
• Excluded Cases: No hearts, thoracic, OB, peds, or peripheral nerve blocks

Practice Setting
• Inpatient & Outpatient

Requirements
• Vaccines: COVID & Flu required (no exemptions)
• Board Certification: Required
• License: Virginia
• DEA: Not required
• Certifications: ACLS & BLS through AHA
• Experience: Minimum 2 years; preference for academic or Level I/II trauma experience; outpatient-only experience considered
