CRNA Needed in Norfolk, VA

Job description

I have a client in Norfolk, VA who is seeking several experienced CRNAs for locum coverage. Here are the job details.

Start: January

12-month assignment

4, Day (10 Hours) 8:00 - 18:00

They will look at 8s-10s or 12s for shifts

-If you are not covid vaxxed, you must notate on the presentation which waiver you will use
-Leadership signs off and then the job is opened

Local is okay
-1 day a week minimum
-Name clear required
-Must be board certified, grandfathered is okay.

-Interviews will happen in 24-48 hours
-DEA not required

-Must have an active license. But for this project, they will take an expired license or if it will be issued in the next 72 hours
-Malpractice, dismissed claim is still a claim, include everything
- Must be open to call, but we aren’t sure what that looks like, but rumor is twice a month
- Call is a beeper

*LEVEL 1 Trauma Exp. required, fast paced environment!

Support staff: Covering 3 sites (one level 1 Trauma, 2 Community Hospitals) 100% supervised under care team model 1:4. Current Staff made up of 30+ ANES, 70+ CRNAs full time

# of patients per day: Varies depending on location

Additional job specifics:
Will be supervised
Cases include: Large Vascular, Neuro, High Risk OB/GYN, Ortho, General, Thoracic, few Peds locums would not have to do Peds or Hearts.

CRNA's administer their own drugs and place epidurals, spinals and arterial lines. Some Obstetrics, Some Trauma mostly for outpatient surgery. Some- arterial catheters, lumbar epidural catheters and spinal anesthesia. Never- Brachial Plexus blocks or other regional anesthesia blocks
