CRNA – High-Acuity Level I Trauma Coverage (12-Month Assignment in VA)

Schedule
• 12-month assignment
• Flexible shifts: 8s, 10s, or 12s
• Minimum 1 day per week
• Call required (estimated ~2×/month; beeper)

Clinical Details
• Case mix includes: large vascular, neuro, high-risk OB/GYN, ortho, general, thoracic
• No peds or hearts for locums
• CRNAs perform: epidurals, spinals, arterial lines, OB, trauma, outpatient mix
• Not performed: regional blocks such as brachial plexus
Requirements
• Must have Level I trauma experience
• Board certified; grandfathered acceptable
• Active license preferred — expired license accepted if renewal is within 72 hours
