Locums CRNA Near VA Beach

Job description

A major health system is seeking CRNAs to cover three hospital sites, including a Level 1 trauma center. Providers work in a 1:4 care team model within a large anesthesia group. Candidates must be comfortable in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Schedule

12-month assignment

Shifts: 8, 10, or 12 hours

Minimum: 1 day/week

Local CRNAs welcome

Call: Beeper call (~2x/month; details pending)

Practice Details

3 sites: 1 Level 1 Trauma Center + 2 community hospitals

Supervision: 100% supervised, 1:4 care team

Team: 30+ anesthesiologists, 70+ CRNAs

Hospital size: 700 beds

Clinical Duties CRNAs perform:

Epidurals, spinals, arterial lines, lumbar epidural catheters

Spinal anesthesia

CRNAs do not perform:

Brachial plexus blocks

Other regional blocks beyond spinal/epidural

Case Types

Vascular, neuro, high-risk OB/GYN, ortho, general, thoracic

Limited pediatrics (no hearts required)

Requirements

Board Certified CRNA (grandfathered acceptable)

Level 1 trauma experience required

Active VA license (expired acceptable if renewal/issuance within 72 hours)

DEA not required

Must be open to call
