Locum CRNA Opportunity - Coastal Community

Job description

We are currently seeking a skilled Locum CRNA to join a collaborative and experienced anesthesia team in Washington. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a stunning Pacific Northwest community with a flexible, supportive team that values work-life balance.

📅 Schedule & Call
Monday – Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:30 PM (flexible)

Call: Shared weekend/nights/holiday call (every 5–6 weekends)

Providers who take weekend call receive the following day off or are the first out

Supportive team that coordinates around personal life events

👩‍⚕️ Team Structure
Current team includes 5 providers (4.8 FTE) + 2 per diems

3 CRNAs on-site per shift

Strong collaboration between MDAs and CRNAs

🏥 Case Mix & Scope of Services
Anesthesia Types: General, spinal, thoracic/lumbar epidurals, regional blocks, IV sedation, MAC

Surgical Services Include:

Ortho (total joints, shoulder replacements, fractures)

General Surgery (laparotomies, hernia repairs, laparoscopic)

Urology, OBGYN (including C-sections, lap hysterectomies)

Plastics (breast reductions, hand cases, Mohs repairs)

Derm, Endoscopy

Non-OR procedures: Central/mid/PICC lines, ED/ICU intubations, cardioversions (no open hearts)

🏥 Facility Details
3 OR suites + 1 endoscopy suite (adding 2 more with ASC)

230+ surgical cases/month

7–12 cases/day across 3 surgical lines

High turnover efficiency; urgent/emergent cases only after-hours

Some day-of-surgery cancellations (higher than national average)

• Ongoing for 6 months
• Split call. Weekend call. Every 5-6 weekends
• General surgery, OBGYN including c-section, Urology, Ortho, Derm, Endoscopy, Plastics/Hand surgeries
