Job description

We're currently seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist for an exciting locum tenens assignment in scenic Ketchikan, Alaska. This is a unique opportunity to practice in a solo setting at a critical access hospital, surrounded by some of the most breathtaking natural beauty in the country.

Bed Count: 25
EMR: EPIC
Start Date: Mid-November 2025
Assignment Type: Inpatient | Solo Coverage

Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
After-hours weekday and weekend call required
8-hour shifts + assigned call rotation

Case Types:
General OR cases
OB department support
Emergency Department support
Occasional A-line and central line placements
Patient demographics: All ages

Requirements:
AK medical license (must be active due to expedited credentialing)
Board Certification or Eligibility
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
(NRP and ATLS preferred)
Comfortable working independently
