Locum Tenens Anesthesia Opportunity – Alaska

Location: Alaska

Start Date: Mid-November

Schedule: 8-hour shifts (7a–3:30p) Monday–Friday with assigned weekday and weekend call

Compensation:

$3,800/day or $475/hr for 8 hours (includes night call; no gratis on weeknights)

Call back: $617.50/hr

Weekend call: $3,000 (includes 4 hrs gratis)

Setting: Inpatient hospital, 25-bed critical access facility

Practice Model: Solo coverage

Average Daily Volume: 5–15 patient contacts

Scope of Practice:

General OR cases

OB department support

Emergency department support as needed

Occasional arterial lines and central lines

Requirements:

MD, DO, or CRNA accepted

Active Alaska medical license (expedited credentialing ~30 days)

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required; NRP and ATLS preferred

Must be comfortable working independently across multiple departments

Experience with a broad range of anesthesia cases (OB, general, and emergency)

EMR: Epic

• Full-scope anesthesia in a critical access hospital
• Solo provider role with OR, OB, and ED support
• Start mid-November – expedited credentialing available
