Facility in Downey California seeking MD coverage ongoing for generalist needs, Will accept new grads

Call & Requirements: No call required
the provider will work a full time schedule, Monday through Friday. Shifts would include; 7am-3pm, 9am-7pm or 11am-7pm.

Will consider 3 weeks a month
Supervision vs Independent: No immediate supervision of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists but there are Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists on staff so the provider will need to be comfortable with the rare occurrence to assist, if needed.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Health Connect – Kaiser Permanente’s version of EPIC.

Certifications required: The provider must be Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible, have an active and clear California Medical License a California Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) certificate and a Basic Life Support Certificate through the American Heart Association.

Number of Operating Rooms: Downey Medical Center has 424 hospital beds and 14 operating rooms.
