Job description

A respected health system in California is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist to provide flexible, multi-site coverage across inpatient and outpatient locations. This opportunity offers exposure to diverse general anesthesia cases across both hospital ORs and ambulatory settings.

Practice Details:
- Providers will rotate across sister sites
- High-acuity inpatient centers and ambulatory surgery centers
- Must be comfortable managing both inpatient and outpatient caseloads
- No cardiac, liver, or neuro cases
- Patients: Adolescents (13+) and adults
- Procedures: Primarily general anesthesia, occasional regional blocks
- Solo OR coverage expected; occasional CRNA supervision

Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- No call, no weekends
- Minimum 2 weeks per month required (Full-time also available)
- 26+ week contract (with potential to extend)
- Rotating between hospital ORs and ambulatory surgery centers

Position Requirements:
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology (or truly board-eligible)
- California Medical License
- DEA
- BLS & ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Recent experience in tertiary care settings required
- Regional anesthesia experience strongly preferred but not required
- Must be available for at least 2 weeks per month
