Anesthesiologist Locum Opportunity in California| Level 3 Trauma | Ongoing Coverage

Position Overview:
• Start Date: November 1, 2025
• Assignment Type: Ongoing locum coverage
• Practice Setting: Inpatient, Hospital-based
• Coverage: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Beeper Call
• Trauma Level: III
• EMR: Epic
• Licensure: Active California medical license required
• Credentialing Timeline: 90–120 days

Schedule Details:
• Initial Schedule:
o Providers will start with day shifts alongside the current team for onboarding
o Night and weekend shifts scheduled only after a few weeks once acclimated
• Weekday Shifts:
o Vary from 8 to 12 hours shifts
o Longest: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
o Shortest: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Weekend Coverage:
o Weekend Day 1: 7 AM – 7 PM (12-hour shift)
o Weekend Day 2: 7 AM – 7 AM (24-hour beeper call – second call)
o Weekend Night: 7 AM – 7 AM (24-hour beeper call – third call during the day, first call at night)
o All weekend call is remote/beeper call

• General, Adult, and Pediatric Anesthesia
• Trauma, OB, Thoracic, Neurosurgical, and Complex Vascular
• Spinals, Epidurals, Regional Anesthesia
• Pain Management (including post-op epidurals and extremity blocks)
• Ventilator Management
• Central and Arterial Line Placement

Requirements:
• Board Certification in Anesthesiology (ABA)
• Active California Medical License – Required
• Experience across a wide range of high-acuity cases
