Anesthesiologist Locum Opportunity – CALIFORNIA (Jan–Apr 2026)

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist to provide full-time coverage near bay area of CA, from January through April 2026, covering a physician leave of absence. This position offers a diverse case mix, supportive team environment, and the opportunity to supervise residents and medical students in a teaching hospital setting.

Assignment Details:
- Location: Near Bay Area
- Start Date: January 5, 2026
- Duration: January–April 2026 (3 months)
- Schedule: Full-time, day shifts with scheduled + on-call coverage
- Shift Options: 8, 10, or 12 hours
- Supervision: Supervise residents/medical students (no CRNA supervision)


Practice Setting:
Acute care ORs, cardiac ORs, OB, GI/Endo, cath lab, interventional radiology, ambulatory surgery center, and orthopedic surgery center
Preferred Experience: Acute pain management training or experience is a plus

Requirements:
- Board Certified in Anesthesiology
- Active California license
- Active DEA
