Anesthesiology Physician Needed in the Bay Area CA:
Start Date: Nov 2025 or as soon as possible
Contract Length: 6 months with option to extend
Schedule: Providers can work either 4 or 5 days/week. Shifts are generally 8 hours long, but can be up to 10 depending on cases. Facility is confident that providers will get a minimum of 40 hours/week, if not more.
Providers will be floated between facility’s sister sites, working high acuity inpatient centers as well as options for ambulatory surgery centers. Providers must be able to cover both inpatient and outpatient procedures. NO cardiac, liver or neuro cases.
Amount of coverage needed per month: Full-Time preferred, minimum of 2 weeks/mo required
Patient population/age: adults and adolescents 13yo+
Department description: Hospital OR coverage, typically only takes on general cases, on occasion regional cases as well.
Regional skills strongly preferred but not required
Board Certification: Required
DEA: Yes, CA with Schedule 2/2n
Certifications preferred: BLS, ACLS - must be AHA
Must have at least 2 years anesthesiology experience.
Must have recent experience at tertiary care centers
Will predominantly work solo in the operating room, only occasionally overseeing CRNAs

Credentialing Timeframe: 60 – 90 days
Active CA License Required
Medical malpractice insurance, travel, and lodging provided
