Aya Locums is seeking an Anesthesiologist for a 26+ week hospital-based contract in Northern California. This role requires floating between sites, providing primarily general anesthesia coverage with occasional regional cases. The position offers flexible scheduling, strong CRNA support, and solo case opportunities.

Assignment Details
• Contract length: 26+ weeks
• Coverage: Full-time preferred, minimum 2 weeks/month required
• Schedule: Hospital OR coverage, floating between sites

Case Mix / Work Details
• Case types: Predominantly general cases; occasional regional cases
• Patient population: Adults and adolescents 13+
• Average work model: Predominantly solo in the OR; occasional CRNA supervision
• Support staff: CRNAs
• EMR: Epic

Practice Model
• Hospital-based, multi-site coverage

Requirements
• Board Certification: Required (will consider truly board-eligible, especially if fellowship-trained)
• State License: Active CA license required
• DEA: Required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (must be AHA)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years anesthesiology experience, with recent work in tertiary care centers
• Skills: Regional anesthesia strongly preferred but not required
