Anesthesiologist – Locum Tenens – California

Job description

Dates: 11/1–11/14, 11/17–11/21, 11/24–11/26, 11/28, 12/1–12/5, 12/8–12/12, 12/15–12/18, 12/22–12/24, 12/27–12/28

Schedule: Weekday shifts vary 8–12 hrs; weekend day 12-hr guaranteed; weekend 24-hr call rotation

Call: Beeper call on weekdays; remote call on weekends

Team: Support staff available; providers requested: 2

Trauma Level: 3

EMR: Epic

Required Skills:

General, adult, pediatric, trauma anesthesia

Spinals, epidurals, regional blocks, post-op extremity blocks

OB anesthesia, neurosurgical, thoracic, complex vascular, complex orthopedic

Pain management, vent management, central and arterial line placement

Requirements:

Board Certified in Anesthesiology

Active California medical license

Credentialing timeframe: 90–120 days

• High-acuity inpatient coverage with adult and pediatric trauma cases
• Diverse case mix including OB, regional blocks, neurosurgical, thoracic, complex vascular and orthopedic cases
• Night and weekend call required with structured ramp-up for day shift orientation
