Anesthesiologists Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage in Colorado

Job description

A multi-site anesthesia program in Colorado is seeking five or more anesthesiologists for ongoing locum tenens coverage. Physicians will be cross-credentialed at three locations.

Available schedules include 8-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., 10-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., and 12-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

Call coverage includes night beeper call from 5:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. and 24-hour in-house call from 7:00 a.m.–7:00 a.m.

The program is considering physicians comfortable with a broad range of anesthesia cases. Anesthesiologists will work within a care-team model supervising CRNAs and AAs. Epic is used for documentation.

There is no telephone interview. Decisions are made based on the submitted provider file. Candidates must have an active Colorado license and reside more than 60 miles from the facility. Emergency privileges may be available for qualified physicians.
