Anesthesiologist needed in Florida!

Job description

Specialty: Anesthesiology
Start Date: July 13, 2025
Coverage Need: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (ongoing)
Rotation Details: Schedule begins on Sundays at 7 AM

Practice Details:

Model: Solo MD coverage; 1 physician per day

Daily Hours: 7 AM – 3 PM in the OR; on-call 3 PM – 7 AM

Call Rotation: Call every night and weekend during rotation weeks

Call Response Time: 30 minutes

Reason for Coverage: Perm search

EMR: Medaxion

Case Mix:

No OB

General, Endoscopy, and Light Peds (~25 peds cases/year)

Regional cases (~100/year): TAP, Interscalene, Femoral/Adductor Canal, Popliteal, Ankle blocks, Central Lines, and Spinals (minimum 5 annually)

Requirements:

ABA Board Certification

ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications

DEA license required

Must be proficient in spinals and blocks (proof via case logs required)

Vaccination required (religious/medical exemptions accepted)

• Solo provider model with consistent 2-week rotation schedule
• High autonomy in a general/regional-focused setting with light pediatric exposure
• Strong emphasis on regional anesthesia—ideal for physicians proficient in blocks & spinals
