Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist to join a dynamic team providing full-time locum coverage at a large Florida hospital. This facility features a diverse and high-acuity case mix, supported by a well-structured care team model.

🔹 Practice Details
Hospital Size: 500 beds
Care Team Model: 9 MDs / 27 CRNAs
MD:CRNA Ratio: 1:4 (General); 1:2 (Cardiac)
Supervision: MDs supervise 100% of the time; Mid-levels function independently
Own Cases: MDs cover own cases ~5% of the time
Call Required: Yes – beeper call
Note: MDs must be comfortable and experienced with OB cases to be eligible for call

🔹 Shift Schedule
Weekdays (Mon–Fri):
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
1st Call: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (In-house)
2nd Call: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Working cases, then beeper from 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Weekend Coverage (Sat & Sun):

Saturday:
7:00 AM – 12:00 PM: 5 Sites of Service
12:00 PM – 3:00 PM: 4 Sites of Service
3:00 PM – 7:00 AM: 3 Sites of Service

Sunday:
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM: 4 Sites of Service
3:00 PM – 7:00 AM: 3 Sites of Service

🔹 Clinical Services
Sites of Service: Includes Cardiac, Trauma, OB, and Pediatric cases
Weekday Volume: ~50 cases/day
Weekend Volume: ~13 cases/day
