CV Anesthesiologist

Shift Times – 7am-5pm for dayshift and 5pm-7am for CV beeper call

Call shifts, in-house and beeper? weekdays and weekends? Beeper call for all days
Average daily cases – CV = 3 or 4

Anesthetizing Sites: 12 ORs/9 NORA

MD:CRNA Ratio: 1:3. Care team model. Physicians do 99% supervision.
-Self-performing cases is uncommon.

Types of Cases: Level II Trauma, Ortho, Spine, Vascular, limited Neuro, Endo, EP Lab

Shifts: 5x10s per week
- Plus a 24 -hour regular weekend shift, Saturday 7am - Sunday 7am

Trauma Call: In-house call shift starts at 3pm and runs to 7am

EMR: Meditech
