Anesthesiologist Needed in Jacksonville, FL

Job description

The Anesthesia is General IV ANES for moderate sedation.
Coverage dates:
14 days in Dec
16 days in Jan
Ongoing through 2026
Shift hours 7a-3p

Start Date: Dec 1
Contract Length: More than 3 days a week booked in Dec. 3 days a week in Dec. Coverage ongoing. Goal is to have 10-15 surgeries per month
16 days of surgery in January
14 days of surgery in Dec
2 week graze period

Work Details:
Support staff: Physician and 2 assistants.
Amount of coverage needed per month: Ongoing need: Dec- 14 days; Jan 16 days; 10+ days for the rest of 2026.
Patients per day: 1-3 per day (Dual Full arch in the AM. Single arch or implants in the PM)
Patient population/age: 50yrs-70yrs- No peds
Department description: Dental Surgical Suite
EMR: Eaglesoft – Wont need training
Hospital bed size: Procedure rooms/ chairs using 2 but have 4 and planning to expand.
Special procedures: IV moderate sedation. Not putting patients all the way under
Skills required: IV

Practice Setting:
Ambulatory Surgery Center/ Dental Center

Requirements:
Board Certification: Must be Board Certified
License required: FL
DEA: Maybe
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS
Minimum experience required: 2
